Back by popular demand! The Makery at Hannaford Career Center and Addison County Solid Waste Management District invite you to a Repair Fair. Rather than throwing that old toaster into the landfill, maybe it can be fixed. Get that zipper repaired on a favorite pair of pants rather than cutting them into painting rags. Here are the type of items we'll look at:
We can't guarantee we'll be able to fix it, and if your item gets broken in the process, it's at your own risk. But, it's worth a try! Re-use, recycle, repurpose is our motto.
THERE IS NO COST TO ATTEND THE REPAIR FAIR OR HAVE YOUR ITEM REPAIRED. DONATIONS ARE APPRECIATED.
You'll be asked to sign up for a time slot and that you bring only one item per slot, but you can reserve two time slots during the Repair Fair.
