Just in time for Mother's Day, we'll be putting together bluebird houses to make these gorgeous birds welcome as they drift northward.
You can purchase a kit of parts ready to assembly for $10 from the Career Center, or learn how to make your own parts out of a 1" x 6" x 6' pine board.
Kits come with all the wood and fasteners you will need to build the birdhouse, but you will need a hammer and Phillips screwdriver to put these together. A cordless drill/driver might be a big help, but isn't essential. After we build a house using precut parts, we'll have a demonstration of how to make your own parts using the Makery woodshop.
If the technology cooperates, both demonstrations will be available on MCTV afterwards for your future reference. Poles are not included in the kits but are recommended by some for best results.

After you complete the registration, a confirmation email with the Zoom meeting link will be sent to you.
The eMakery is offering this workshop with two options once you start the registration process. The first option is free and you can follow along with or without your own supplies. The second is to buy the Materials Kit (no contact pickup at the Hannaford Career Center).
